Keeping Suriname Carbon Negative”
Suriname is one of the only countries in the world that remains carbon negative — a global environmental leader. At SUBACO International, we are committed to protecting and strengthening this status through sustainable innovation and responsible land use.
We cultivate bamboo on land previously used for agricultural activities, focusing on secondary forests. Our approach uses selective deforestation, ensuring that only necessary areas are cleared while preserving surrounding ecosystems.
